Five Days for the Homeless is a charity campaign founded in 2005 by students from the School of Business at the University of Alberta. It is a 5 day campaign in which university students live "homeless" on their respective campus to raise money and awareness for local charities that assist homeless and at-risk youth. Laurier participates in 5 Days for the Homeless alongside twenty-four other Canadian universities, which collectively raised $220,000 during the 2011 campaign!

Laurier has participated in 5 Days for the Homeless for four years, over which time the campaign has built tremendous momentum. With overwhelming support from the Laurier community, Laurier surpassed their goal of raising $10,000 by raising a total of $14,500 for two shelters in the Waterloo Region!
