The Laurier Innovation and Technology Club's (LITC) mission is to develop students into entrepreneurs and innovative thinkers and to foster a network of driven leaders and a culture of collaboration. Laurier Sports Management Club (LSMC) focuses on giving students an opportunity to gain executive experience in a fun competitive environment. Members get to take control of a real multimillion dollar sports franchise and engage in all daily managerial duties a professional sports general manager would. Students have their management abilities put to the ultimate test, which allows them to showcase but to also develop their skills. LSMC also hosts many fun sports events such as tournaments, live draft nights and trips to Leafs/Raptors games to give students a chance to network and also have an enjoyable time.

Students Offering Support is a national network of student volunteers working together to raise funds to raise the quality of education and life for those in developing nations through raising marks of our fellow University students.


This is accomplished through our Exam-AID initiative where student volunteers run group review sessions prior to a midterm or final exam for a $20 donation.


All of the money raised through SOS Exam-AIDs is funnelled directly into sustainable educational projects in developing nations. Not only does SOS fund these projects, but SOS volunteers help build the projects on annual volunteer trips coordinated by each the chapter.

SIFE is an international non-profit organization designed to make a difference in communities while helping students develop the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. SIFE’s leadership and career initiatives create meaningful opportunities for learning and exchange among the participants as well as the placement of students and alumni with companies in search of emerging talent.

There are currently 1,500 active SIFE teams in 39 countries around the world. These teams are running 8,700 impactful community projects and generating over $12,800,000 in economic opportunity. The goal of each project is to consider all relevant economic, social, and environmental factors, and most effectively empower people in need by applying business and economic concepts with an entrepreneurial approach to improve their quality of life and standard of living.
