The Wilfrid Laurier School of Business & Economics Students' Society (SBESS) hosts an annual Charity Dodgeball Cup, with the next tournament taking place in January 2011.

The purpose of this exciting even is to raise money for charities in our community. This year the proceeds went to 5 Days for the Homeless, a national campaign aimed at raising awareness about the issue of homelessness and raising money for local charities. Specifically, the proceeds from the 5 Days event will be donated to two local charities who will be chosen by the SBESS 5 Days Team. In the past we have donated to Argus Residence for Young People and ROOF (Reaching Our Outdoor Friends); two Kitchener-based establishments that provide shelter and support to homeless youth in the area.

Keep an eye out for updates in regards to how you can get involved! If you have any questions, please contact evelyn.mcgowan@sbess.ca or kody.robinson@sbess.ca
