Welcome to Laurier! The first year at a new school can be an amazing experience for individuals who embrace it. The School of Business and Economics Students' Society (SBESS) has created a mentorship program to ensure you are one of these students.

Assisting to ensure a smooth transition into the program, upper-year students are trained to provide you with information and answer any questions you may have about the Business or Economics programs, Laurier, or university life in general.

When you sign up for an SBE Mentor you can dictate how much interaction you have with your mentor, and how often you wish to meet up or communicate via the internet to share information. Social events are planned throughout the year, allowing you to network with your peers and seek the advice of upper-year students.

We strongly encourage every student to take advantage of this program, as you can never have too many contacts or resources. The upper-year students involved in the program are excited to assist first-year students in reaching their goals while at Laurier, and serve as an irreplaceable asset to new students!
