Students Offering Support is a national network of student volunteers working together to raise funds to raise the quality of education and life for those in developing nations through raising marks of our fellow University students.
This is accomplished through our Exam-AID initiative where student volunteers run group review sessions prior to a midterm or final exam for a $20 donation.
All of the money raised through SOS Exam-AIDs is funneled directly into sustainable educational projects in developing nations. Not only does SOS fund these projects, but SOS volunteers help build the projects on annual volunteer trips.

This is just a heads up that within the next few weeks we will begin hiring our Headstart Ambassadors for this summer. Its a great opportunity for students interested in making a little extra cash as well as the chance to relate your experiences at Laurier to future students. If you are here this summer or live close by you might want to consider this opportunity. You are paid and this can go on your co-curricular transcript.
Headstart is a program developed to assist incoming first year students to gain insight into what they can expect. As well as how to go about preparing for their up and coming year.
Business sessions will be running on the following days:
June 25 – 8:00 am until 4:00 (two different sessions)
July 9th – 8:00 am until 4:00 (two different sessions)
July 10th – 8:00 am until 4:00 (two different sessions) (Saturday)
You would not be limited to these days only as Art and Science also runs different sessions and needs ambassadors as well. Something to think about.
